My uni group (and now as we get older, respective babies/boyfriends/husbands/fiances) go away for a weekend in November/December every year to somewhere where we can catch up before the madness descends!
The search has begun for this year! Criteria:
- 12 adults and one baby (>1 year) made up of 4 couples + four singles - so ideally 6 beds and space for a travel cot
- within 3 hours drive of London
- a hot tub (I know - it's become part of the deal over the years!)
- good walks, preferably with pubs en route (we're good walkers but this is the first one with a baby so sling friendly if poss!)
- proper cottage - exposed beams etc
We're hitting up the usual websites but if any MNers had recommendations I'd love to know!
