I need a hotel for us plus 3 dc, near Leeds, Harrogate, York etc

We plan to visit Diggerland and the York Maze but the biggest problem seems to be finding a hotel that will sleep a family of 5. Help please? TIA

Would you be better splitting across two rooms at a Premier Inn? There is a nice one in Harrogate.

If you book a chain hotel they can usually give you two interconnecting rooms, and an extra single bed in one of them for your youngest DC? We did this in Manchester at the Premier Inn (school trip but same set up i.e. 5 people across 2 rooms).

There's a Travelodge just outside Skipton (next to Keelham farm shop) which definitely has interconnecting rooms. Don't know about the extra bed though.

Youth hostel! There are plenty of family rooms and many sleep 5 or 6

Marriott in york or Leeds do 5 I think.
