What's your budget OP? Gidleigh Park and Bovey Castle are top end luxury hotels in Devon.

Also what part of Devon are you looking at?

SummerKelly · 04/07/2017 21:51

I went to Saunton Sands a few years ago and it was old fashioned. I think it might have been refurbished since. The location is fantastic though, I'd go again for that.

Grumpbum · 04/07/2017 22:36

It has been refurbished recently and is doing yoga/surf breaks etc. I went when it was a little old fashioned but you can't beat its position

We're staying with relatives Nr saunton then moving to a campsite on the south coast.iid like to be near salcombe having researched a bit more but can't be fussy as the south west seems full up! I'm prepared to pay c£250 a night per room

missyB1 · 11/07/2017 18:21

Saunton Sands, I have stayed there a few times and love it! That beach is fab too!

Theyrejustfuckingwords · 11/07/2017 18:22

I'd definitely recommend Gidleigh Park.

MrsEricBana · 11/07/2017 18:25

Gidleigh is super foodie and very expensive though I agree very lovely.
