Sandbanks hotel bournemouth

Has anyone been and have any comments on it ? It'll be summer hols this year , me ,dh and kids aged 6 and 11. We are not eating at the hotel so really would just like opinions on the pool rooms and decor

I know it's been in the local news recently because there's a lot of opposition to plans to demolish it and adjacent hotels and rebuild. So maybe you should go while you still can...

I stayed there recently. The location is fab as you have sea views on both sides of the hotel and you're right on the beach. The bedrooms are a bit dated though. They're fine but nothing luxury or glamorous. I'm guessing you won't mind if you have kids with you. I didn't see the pool so can't comment on that I'm afraid.
