Church Bay in Anglesey is my dc's favourite.

Llyn penninsula. Fabulous beaches, really child friendly. Had a great holiday there last year.

Newborough - acres of sand and dunes, and island that you can walk to a low tide - with an interesting story about a Welsh saint (Santes Dwynwen IIRC), and forestry with a forest walk.
