Help! Fishing holiday for the men and a hot tub for me wanted!

I have searched and searched for a holiday in August, seems anything I have found is already booked! Son is home on Army leave and wants to go away. So .........we cannot afford to go abroad, this is what we are looking for.
Lodge or cottage
With fishing lake on site
Hot tub!
3 bedrooms
walking distance to shops/cafes etc
no more than 4-5 hour drive from Kent
taking 2 x`s 19yr old sons!
so must have Wi-Fi

Have stayed at Woodhall Spa lodges, lovely but would like a change.

When I was in the army I seem to remember someone advertising lodges for soldiers and their families at preferential rates. I'm sure they used to put adverts in Soldier magazine. It might even have been attached to one of the service charities.

We went to Tattershall Lakes 4 years ago and didn't like it, it was very noisy.

Retallack in Cornwall?

We went to Retallack about 6 years ago, lovely lodge with hot tub but its too far now for us to go. In Aug the traffic to Cornwall from Kent is horrendous, my best friend lives near Helston and it has in the past taken us 8 hours stuck behind caravans! So really looking 3-4 hour journey as my husband has Parkinsons and I have recently finished treatment for cancer and now have lymphedema in my leg because they removed lymph nodes! So long journeys are not ideal! Would love to fly but just cannot afford it in Aug. I thought when my trio left school I would be free of having to find a holiday in school holidays, now my soldier boy gets all his breaks in peak season!

Ahh not such a good idea then! Sorry I'm up North and my geography is terrible!
