Hotel near Birmingham Jewellery Quarter?

Hotel or similar to stay in!

Have a trip planned for end of September, I will be spending some time buying supplies in the jewellery quarter, have a study visit at the art gallery and figured I'd go to the sea life centre and steal a penguin for ds while there.

So somewhere in the triangle those 3 form, as I will be on foot and using public transport.

Nothing flashy. Nothing noisy. Not interested in the night life and will be alone.

Any suggestions?

Me & dd have stayed at New Street (Grand Central Premier Inn several times. It's a bit further from the jewellery quarter but good for public transport.

The Grand Central Premier inn is good.
You can get the metro just outside new street station and it takes you to the jewellery quarter
Sea life centre is walking distance from New Street too

Art gallery is also a short walk away
