Hotel recommendations west end London

I'm looking for some hotel recommendations for my daughter when she visits London for the first weekend in September for 2 nights. She's going with her boyfriend to celebrate his 21st and they're going to,see Les Mis on the Saturday night .
They want to be near soho and the west end so they're close to bars & restaurants .

The Strand Palace is very central, safe, quiet and not too expensive.

So they could also try airbnb?

I like the Premier Inn Hub on St. Martin's Lane. Great rooms, fairly cheap and right in the middle of everything.

I like ME on the Strand. It's quite funky so might appeal to a 21 year old, plus you get given Prosecco on check in.

Also, it's got a fantastic roof top bar.
