Any ideas for child friendly hotel Worcs/Gloucester?

Am going to visit a friend at the weekend just outside Worcester. DH is going to visit a friend near to Gloucester - we're thinking about staying the night and making a weekend of it. Any suggestions for somewhere mid way where we could meet up and stay? Don't know the area at all. Not too bothered about the restaurant as we will probably feed the DSes somewhere cheap and cheerful but a bar would be good

Have you looked on the mumsnet info. pages? - there's loads of stuff there about child-friendly places, recommended by parents.
Good luck!

The problem that you will find is that there is nowhere obviously half way between Worcester and Gloucester, so you may have to go some way out of your way, IYSWIM.

Sorry - not v. helpful. There is a hotel near us which is one of the "luxury family friendly" group advertising on MN home page at the moment - but we are North of Worcester.

Should you end up there I could recommend some cheaper places to eat than in their restaurant, though!
