Any comments on the area or Haven site?

Tide goes out a long way

TY - I had forgotten about that. I have been to Westone super mare which is just up the road isn't it...

Burnham is nice - ILs take the caravan there regularly and we go to visit them. Nice beach at Brean (just up the road) but you have to be careful as the tides can be treacherous and there's sinking sand, but it's clearly sign-posted.

Don't know about the Haven site, but the area as a whole is very family-friendly.

We went to the Haven site a few years ago(pre ds) and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like Haven - plus it will cost us about £100 (we have £600 tesco vouchers!!!).

We have noticed a bit of variability site to site though...just wonderd what this one was like.

Went there in March... 1st Haven experience & pleasantly surprised. All very clean & staff were excellent. My kids are quite young (6 & 1) and it suited us down to the ground - plenty to do, but not overwhelming. Going again in a few weeks!

Could only fault the swimming pool (changing rooms not big enough & pool v. crowded - but then outdoor pool was closed, so might be better now we're in "season", so should have both indoor & outdoor pools open!). Also, caravan was freezing at night (cheapy deal - no heating in bedrooms), but a fan heater soon sorted that out.

Location was great too... opposite the beach
