Butlins, Bognor, adult weekend, daytime activities?

Has anyone been to Butlins in Bognor for an adults-only weekend, and if so - what is there to do during the day? There's entertainment in the evenings, but if there are amazing things to do locally, I don't want to miss them. We won't have a car. Any recommendations or warnings about places to eat would be good, too!

Honestly? Bognor itself doesn't have much in it! No especially nice places to eat in the town, not any chains.

Chichester is quite nice, that's around 20 minutes away. The train station is easy to get to from Butlins itself. Plenty of choice with places to eat, it's quite a pretty historic town all well if you like that sort of thing. A few places locally set up 'scavenger hunts' and that sort of thing. Lots of boutique style shops, and there's quite a few nice pubs around. There's a local vineyard - Tinwood Estate I think it's called - who do tours and tastings, and a chocolate shop that does chocolate tastings which could make a good day time activity.

I'll keep thinking! I'm sure there's loads more, but it's been a while since I've lived there.

in bognor itself there is nowhere good to eat, but down the road in felpham there is the lobster pot and it's very good, just on the seafront fresh fish/crab really nice. can get busy though. I would also recommend Chichester great city, not huge but a good mix of shops and restaurants.

Righhhttt I've had a think

Apart from the Gypsy doing fortune telling on the sea front I can think of nothing in Bognor itself! The pubs are pretty poor too, but as far as I'm aware the Lobster Pot ( there's one in the park round the corner from butlins too if you don't fancy the walk to felpham) and the Hardwick still do nice food. I think the hardwick has been renamed though. It's the big pub with steps in front of it on the high street.

Hope you have a good time! I do think bringing the kindle is a good idea though.
