Feb half term: need cheap alternative to Centre Parks!

Hi, I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old (in nursery) and have booked February half term off work. It will be our second holiday since DD1 was born. We need something cheap but fun and child friendly. Centre Parks is £799 for just 4 nights that week. Where could we go that is cheaper?! We live in London. Thanks.

Is there any reason you need to take half term particularly?
I ask because Centre parks is very much cheaper outwith the school holidays.

You could do 2 nights/2 days at Disneyland Paris for about the same money: they have 25% off and half board included at the moment.
Wrap up warm!

Take a look at butlins just for tots breaks. My three year old loved in and there is a lot to do undercover. If you can rearrange for outside of the half term, all breaks will be cheaper. As you are in london, I would also look at going abroad as it's just a short hop by ferry and there is a lot of choice

ShowMeTheElf, my DD1 is at nursery and it's the kind of nursery that teaches them and has lesson plans, etc, so I don't want to take her out during term time.

We have just booked Center Parcs in Belgium (Erperheide) for February half term. It has cost us £480 for 4 nights in a VIP lodge which includes daily bread deliveries. We also get 3 free activity vouchers and were able to select the location of our lodge for no extra cost. It is around a 3 hour drive from Calais.

Erperheide looks fantastic for young children as it has lots of great soft play areas and a little petting farm as well as the swimming dome. I definitely recommend looking into the European Center Parcs.

We stayed at de kempervennen which is very similar. Your bread delivery is hung on the door handle of your villa, you have to be sure to be up before the squirrels/birds

If you don't mind a more basic level of accommodation, a premium lodge (you don't get the bread delivery or sauna with these lodges) for 4 people would only cost you £343 for 4 nights at Center Parcs Erperheide that week.

You can get an additional 'family discount' for having children under 13 if you go for a premium lodge but for some reason they don't offer you the family discount for the VIP lodges.

If your children are under 5 and you are not a teacher you can go any time why restrict yourself to expensive half term when you don't need to?

The op said that her daughter is at a nursery that has lesson plans so she doesn't want to take her out in term time, Leatherbound.
Center Parcs in Belgium is really good value that week (Erperheide in particular) as the Belgian children have half term at the end of Feb rather than the middle of the month.
