I'm taking my DD to London the week leading up to Christmas for an overnight stay . She's like to go on the eye, see Big Ben etc. Where would be best to stay in close proximity to these? We're travelling to kings cross so would prefer something with easy access to get back to the station in order to catch our train the next day. Any advice welcome Smile

Depends on your budget. We stay out east as tends to be cheaper. E.g. Aldgate east still in zone 1 and on tube line to kings cross (I think!). Also interesting area in itself (spital fields, brick lane etc).
