So the in-laws are having our 2 DC to stay for a week in August next year, which will be the first proper break we've had since DD was born 6 years ago. To say we're excited is an understatement!
Anyone got suggestions for lovely places to stay in the UK? We haven't got the budget to go abroad. Would prefer somewhere that wasn't overun with children. We'll have a 6 hour journey from the south coast to drop DC off in Cheshire so somewhere in the north might be good. I want to relax, DH wants to do some country walks.
