Recommendation of somewhere to visit for a couple of days please

We (dh, ds13 and me) fancy a couple of days away at half term. We live in London so within a couple of hours or so by car would be ideal.
We have visited Brighton, the New Forest, East Midlands, Oxford and Cambridge recently so not them.
Really don't mind if it's coast, countryside or town. Just can't think where to go!
Any recommendations please

Bath is quite a nice place to visit. we enjoyed Cardiff with the castle and the outdoor water flume. Bristol has the @Bristol science place and SS great Britain.

Thank you mummymeister. Haven't been to Bath or Bristol for years. And don't think I've ever been to Cardiff. Off to investigate further.

If you don't mind blowy stark english seascapes then I'd suggest the North Norfolk coast. Perhaps Blakeney. I think it's beautiful at this time of year. there are several NT properties close by and the North Norfolk railway.
