I need a break from all the crap going on and I know my kids do too, we haven't done anything fun together or relaxed properly for ages.

Is there anywhere near to brum that I could take them that is incredibly cheap ?? Can't afford to do anything but I so think we all need it right now before the family completely falls apart.

I don't drive so devon, cornwall etc are not really options as I can't afford the train fare.
Centre Parcs is quite close and my dad would probably take us and collect us but i'm right in thinking they are pricey aren't I ??

Just want to see my kids having a nice time for a change.

Nutty, is there a pontins near you? look for a break in april they are about 70 for 4 nights. Termtime though.

What about Water World in Stoke? Ive been there loads of times. Its a good day out. Lots of slides. The kids will love it. I think they do a family pass for roughly £25.

if you're not fussed about the beach try places like ironbridge, bridgnorth, evesham, pershore, worcester, stourport. lots of caravan parks there.

My dad may have just made my day, will post more in a mo, just getting the kids ready.

If you have a tesco clubcard, have a look at some of the holiday deals you can get with your vouchers ... you can get £4 worth of holiday for £1 worth of voucher - we've saved them up and we're paying for our summer holiday with ours this year.

Yay, hurry up and tell us!!

Shropshire is really lovely. I don't htink it would be too pricey to rent a cottage this time of year. Not too far from you there. Malvern hills? Depends on what you want. If you just want a nice place to stay and chill that isn't home - that might be OK.

Oops sorry.

Basically my dad has said that he will take me and the kids to France in June to visit my aunt and uncle who have been on at us to go for ages.
All I have to do is find the money for passports for me and the kids and then a bit of spending money
