London activities for a toddler

We're going to London in early December for the weekend with our DD who will be 2.8. Planning to taking the buggy as know it'll be very busy. Any suggestions of good activities for her?
I was thinking of natural history museum (planning to get there when it opens), Princess of Wales playground (weather dependent) and changing of the guard. We're staying by Westminster Bridge but know London quite well so happy to tube/bus it to places.
Good toddler friendly nice restaurants recommendations too please. Know the usual chain haunts but any other gems welcomed.

I haven't been yet but have been told that the Transport Museum is very good for toddlers. They will probably love the street performers you get along the South Bank.

Definitely head for the Transport Museum in Covent Garden - its perfect for her age. We took our DC (aged 3.5 and 2) this summer and they loved it.

DS really liked the Tower Bridge experience (with the glass floors) when he was just 3.
Also the cable cars by the O2.

Sophie's Steakhouse (Covent Garden) does a free roast for children on Sundays and is child friendly.
