Places to go with three year old near Hertford

We're going to Hertford/Ware later this year with three year old DS to see relatives and staying at premier inn, ware.

Any recommendations for things to do while we're there apart from visit London? We've been to Hartham common and a garden centre with miniature train this time, can't remember its name. Any other ideas, particularly if it's raining?

The garden centre is Van Hages. Best check which days the miniature train is running.

Woody's Playbarn is small with good outside play space if nice weather permits.
