Heathrow hotel for 3 adults and 1 child - possible?

We are looking for a hotel for our family of 4, but as DD is 19, she counts as an adult. All the hotels I've found have rooms for 4, but only 2 adults and 2 children. They don't seem to want 3 adults and a child in a family room.

Can anyone recommend a hotel that will let us use a family room? We don't want to pay twice as much and get two rooms!

Reduce the age of your 19 year old otherwise the standard room is 2 adults and 2 children. this is to stop groups of teenagers taking on a room for 4 of them. otherwise look for a little b and b nearby, they will probably be more flexible with their family rooms.

If it's a big airport Premier Inn I doubt they'll check. Book for a 17 year old or whatever the system allows, and maybe if she looks very grown up she can wander across the lobby to buy a coffee/play on her phone while you go up to the check-in desk to sort out keys etc.

We did that in a Premier Inn when she was 17. (The room was for 2 adults and 2 children under 16). We just said that we didn't realise there was an age restriction. They let it go, but did say that she wouldn't be allowed in a family room in the future, so they do seem to check on it.

we are in a similar position only with more children and have had to bite the bullet and book 2 rooms. its a pain and if you don't think you can get round it then you just have to do it.

We've just booked the Novotel - looks good, and not too expensive.

Sorry I'm late, but can recommend crown plaza Heathrow as they will add an extra bed in a room to accommodate 3 children. They have a pool and rooms are lonely too.
