Barmston Beach or Withernsea Sands

Has anyone been to either of these resorts?

If so, what are they, and the area they're in, like?

Withernsea is a DUMP! Went to school there and parents still live in the area. I would go further North - Whitby is heaven! Scarborough good too.

There isn't much round Barmston Beach but its only a short ride to Bridilinton, Scarbrough etc. There is a big market down the road on certain days but can't remember which day
