Telford - Best route to get there from the Midlands?

We've got an event to go to on Friday at the Ice Arena in Telford. Coming From Nottingham - what's the best route anyone recommend?

I'm not sure, probably M6 then M54, but try AA route finder or similar. Just wanted to reassure you that the ice rink is right in the town centre, next to the town park, with plenty of nearby parking. Ice rink itself doesn't have any but there is a surface car park at the convention centre about one minute walk away or shopping centre multi storey which is only about three minutes.
