Hotel recommendation on South Coast

We want to go away just for a couple of nights at the end of half term and thinking of the South Coast maybe around Brighton.

Three dc aged 15, 13 and 9. We don't want to sit on the beach but a nice promenade and pier would be good. And we want a hotel preferably with both an indoor and outdoor pool.

Any suggestions please?

AFAIK no hotel in the Brighton area has an outdoor pool. A few have indoor but they are expensive.

I would recommend Eastbourne as a lovely place to stay, but only the Grand has swimming pools.

Thanks, in the end we decided to ditch the pool and booked Premier Inn in Brighton centre. It's got good reviews, good value and close to everything
