Are they any good? Thinking of taking DD for a couple of nights for her second birthday to the Bognor Regis resort along with DH, and just wondering if it's worth the £200?

I went for two nights and stayed in the hotel. I think I paid about £160 for me, my ds and my dd. I didn't pay for the meal plan.

I thought it was brilliant but appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea. There's swimming, an indoor soft play and an outdoor fun fair (I can't remember about the height restrictions sorry).

And then there were soooo many activities and shows. My dd loved it. Katie from I can cook was there and did a show.

It was loud and not relaxing at all! But I'd go again.

We did, went to mine head where it's full of rabbits. It was good for a few days. We rented a caravan which was better for food and getting away from the madness. It was fun to play in the pools and activities with only toddlers, I doubt DS would have been so happy in the wave machine area with lots of older kids too.

Okay, sounds pretty good. Have asked DH to see if he can get the time off work. Will be nice for us to have a few days away together I think. I think 2 nights sounds better than 4 nights though, which I think might be a bit much. xx

You can't get a better break for kids than Butlins. So much to do and see.

We went for a short break with DS1 when he was 4. In 3 weeks time we will be going for the 13th time!

The DCs are older now at 14 and 10 but won't hear of us going anywhere else.

Wittery is it the Bognor one you want to go to? If you're open to any of the sites, I totally recommend the caravans at the Minehead site. (I think Skegness has caravans too.)

They're a lot more spacious and a lot have decking so they're great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the main site. They're often cheaper than booking through Butlins too but you still get everything included.

Definitely worth looking at anyway. Ukcaravans4hire have a lot on their site to look at.
