Accomodation advice near Chelmsford - CM1

I am due to go to Chelmsford Magistrates Court, (as a witness) in July. I will need to stay overnight. Does anyone have any local knowledge of B&Bs, hotels, near to the Court. I need to be there early so ideally walking distance or a short taxi ride.

Any other info re local eating places, parking etc would be gratefully received.

These are both a few minutes walk from the magistrates I think.

Also meant to say that it's just off the high street so lots of restaurants to choose from.
