I did it a number of years ago and would highly recommend paying for your bags to be transferred for you each day. We did a mix of bunk houses and a hotel for the first night. Was absolutely fantastic we had the most amazing weather. Will do it again when my kids are older.

We stayed in a bunk house at the bridge of orchy hotel & only walked a half day tat day. Food was fantastic & it felt great to relax half way through.

Also stayed at a bunk house at kinlochleven and youth hostel at Rowardennan & fort William both of which were good.

Dodgy hotel in tyndrum and the win nock at drymen which was nice.
We spread it out a bit to enjoy it.
