Self catering in IoW for August bank holiday weekend?

It's probably impossible but I will ask the wisdom of MN before I declared defeat.

We'd like to go to the IoW for one or two nights for the first August bank holiday weekend. We prefer self catering, but we can't afford to take a whole week off. Are there any self catering places that are let out like hotels/b&bs on a daily basis?

DH thinks we should just book ourselves into a premier inn!

We're staying at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight this Easter. They have lots of self-catering options. You can do a three night weekend stay there. I think three nights is the minimum you'll probably get self-catering at such a peak time.

If its just for a couple of nights then I am with your DH - book the premier inn.
