Does anyone know anything about NCCO (National Children's Chamber Orchestra)

Hi all,

Unfortunately my DD didn't get in to NCO this year. This wasn't a huge surprise as she didn't feel that she had performed her best at her audition. However she did audition for NCCO and she has been offered a place on that at Easter. There does not seem to be a huge amount of information around about it and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it or how the standard compares to NCO ? x

Commiserations to her.
I'm afraid I haven't heard of ncco (though I would have expected standard to be higher, as there's nowhere to hide in a chamber orchestra!)
This thread has been put in UK Travel though- maybe there would be more useful responses if you get MNHQ to move it to extra-curricular where the music types (and parents of music types) hang out?

Thanks for that Holstein! I hadn't realised as I'm quite new to mumsnet and I created this on my phone! I'll create a new post under extra-curricular instead! x
