Lunch in London at Christmas with many many children

Hi

We are looking to have Christmas lunch in London (does not need to be turkey) for several families. Idea is more of a catch up than anything to do whit food but we do have lots of children and babies between us so it can be quite stressful for us and the rest of the restaurant.

This year we need a new venue so wondering if any one had any suggestions. We did have the brill idea of a pizza express party for the kids and wine for us but apparently they don't do these on weekends at London Victoria.

The restaurant needs to be close to London Victoria or London Bridge as we are merging from different areas.

Any ideas for a place with reasonable food, reasonable price may be with a private room.

Thanks in advance

Maybe try to hire a room in a pub? The Old Star near St James Park station has a room to hire upstairs. Alternatively, House of Fraser has a restaurant which is usually quiet (but not opened in the evening).

You could try our MN Local site for Westminster & City, which has thousands of listings including restaurants, plus a What's On guide that covers Christmas in central London: local.mumsnet.com/westminster-and-city

It sort of depends how much you want to spend but several of the big hotels in the centre of London have private dining rooms you can hire (I've done this for hen dos and the like)
