My Mum's 60 next year and wants us all to go on holiday together for a few days/week. We need something not too pricey but that will suit the kids and grown ups and has at least 5 bedrooms.

Any ideas?? Anywhere in UK is do-able!

What kind of thing are you considering and what is the budget, idea of area.

We rented a lovely log cabin that had 7 bedrooms and a fantastic location for FIL's 60th. I orgainised the catering and it was a lovely relaxing weekend.

The Rabbie Burns Lodge is the big one , but it is not to bad price wise once split between everyone.

It is set in a huge estate with an adventure playground and wooded area directly behind the lodge, so you can just open the door and let them run. There is an other playground down at the front of the big house as well as a football pitch and a fishing loch with a hide for watching the birds. From the woodland area you can continue up on to the hills and walk for miles with out crossing a road.

I loved it there , can you tell.
