history museum, transport museum.

NotQuiteCockney · 30/11/2006 13:59

Oh, Museum of London, and Docklands Museum.

I think the transport museum is closed, until next year.

The transport museum is closed. Dont miss the museum of natural history (right next to the science museum so you can easily do both), especially if you have a dinosaur lover in you group. No charge to get in but there is also an exhibit called dino jaws you pay for with moving dinosaurs that look so real that is worth the money. A great playground is corums fields located near russell square tube station. The foundling museum is right behind it which I havent been too but is supposed to be nice (history of founding orphan children in london) and close buy are lots of places to eat and coffee shops etc.

I would also suggest the princess diana playground in hyde park. Great fun if is not too cold and has a little cafe, and lots for both a 6 and 2 year old to do.
