Hello. A relative has a special birthday coming up in early October and we'd like to book somewhere for the family to meet up, within approx 1.5 hour commute of Barnet in North London. There are ten kids aged 4-15 and 5 adults. We'd like to have a meal together and stay overnight (it would be a Saturday).
We'd love to do Center Parks but it's too expensive, and we can't book it for only one night. It seems difficult to book cottages for one night too. We've looked at some hotels, but haven't found the ideal one yet - perhaps one with a swimming pool, but preferably lots of outside space too where they won't mind the kids running around and playing hide and seek etc.
Any suggestions?
