Any must sees/dos near St Agnes in Cornwall?

Off tomorrow self catering near St Agnes and don't know this area at all. Not packed a thing yet so am procrastinating here on mumsnet asking for any tips or advice about great places to go or best beaches etc nearby? Thank you

we went a few years ago, Trevance is a great beach, lovely walk down as well but depends what area of the village you are staying, or there is a car park right next to it if you have bags, chairs to carry. Truro is a nice town with a good cinema for rainy days plus the Eden Project is a good hours drive.

Food wise the Railway Inn pub does good pubby food that is the far end of the village.

Where are you staying in a cottage?

Thanks, were staying in a village about 5 mins drive from St Agnes so just wondered about best beaches etc, being optimistic here!
