From London to Manchester/Liverpool.....

We want to travel from any London airport to either Manchester or Liverpool, I'm not having much luck on line or it is very expensive (ie the tax is more than the fare!!) I thought easyjet flew from Stansted to Liverpool but according to their website they don't, we are not travelling until March/April next year but want to get it sorted, we are in the UK for only 1 week so dh doesn't feel like driving as we think it will cost as much in petrol as it will in air fares and he doesn't fancy going by train, I don't mind,

Is there anyone out there who can help??

Have you tried looking at Blackpool? It's not far away from there. Or Leeds?

Anyway, this is a good site. It shows you the cheap airlines that fly from where to where.
