Anyone fancy Isle of Wight for a week starting 14 August?

I have a booking for a holiday apartment in Shanklin, the Isle of Wight from 14 August for a week which I can no longer use due to a bereavement

It is £460.

It is a one-bedroom apt with sofa bed in lounge, so sleeps four. There is a garden, washing machine etc.

Sorry to hear of your bereavement. Do you have travel insurance (if not an annual policy then perhaps through your bank or credit card) that might cover the cancellation?

I didn't think to get insurance for a UK holiday... And I don't think I have anything through my bank cards

Ahhh I was in shanklin last weekend, it was lovely, swimming in the sea and drinking and eating at Fishermans cottage,I think you are offering a most reasonable holiday in a very pretty little place .

I know...it is very reasonably priced and fully booked out for all this year and next. I was really looking forward to going...
