Where to go after Norfolk?

I'm a SP and this year the DC (7 & 4) and I are going glamping in West Norfolk for a week - yay!! We have had several holidays in Norfolk before and love love love it & have lots of fun there.

We leave the campsite on a Monday and I have the following week off work. So I was thinking we could "road trip" a bit before returning to London.

Any suggestions as to where we could go/visit/stay - westish of Norfolk, north of London? What are must see's in the area?

I'm thinking a couple of nights in B&B seeing something lovely? I'm not interested in large theme parks.

Any suggestions gratefully received - TIA.

Cambridge? Visit museums, colleges, Imperial War Museum at Duxford, Botanic Gardens, NT properties ...

Ickworth if you are happy visiting national trust properties or Sutton Hoo for the saxon longship burial. Colchester Zoo is great.

Castle Acre in West Norfolk is good. I like Hunstanton beach & their sea life centre is a step above most others. Or you could head south for Constable country, nice eateries in Dedham, rent a row boat there.
