Food stop near Manchester Airport

I'm travelling from the North to Manchester Airport tomorrow with DDs age 3 and 6. We don't need to be at the airport until 8pm so I'm looking for somewhere an hour or less away to get some food and with a decent playpark nearby or something else to entertain them for a bit - pub with soft play would do. Any suggestions?

There are lots of restaurants / cafes in Hale / Altrincham where there are parks (outside) - that's probably a 10 min drive to the airport. There are a few soft plays close by too. For a pub with soft play, I only know there's one on the Trafford Centre complex, that's about 20mins to the airport.
