Hi,
We are starting the planning on a weekend in London (flying in Fri aft to Sun evening) in December as a family of 3 (DD is almost 10).
We are happy to either stay in a family room in a hotel or an apartment (SC or serviced).
What we are looking for is something nice - not outrageously expensive, but handy for activities (so near shopping, or things like science museum etc). We are very used to using pub trans and getting around, but it would be nice to be based reasonably well positioned to get around.
Quirky would be nice - we've done travel lodge, premier inn etc when needed, and that's fine, but I'd like something a little different. It's a trip to have some fun and magic, but also relax.
I'm not sure which airport yet - still looking at flights. (Could be any, but most likely either Gatwick, Stansted or London City rather than LHR).
Any ideas would be great, thanks in advance!!
