Center Parcs again - Any tips for Sherwood?

I'm off to CP Sherwood tomorrow with dd (she's 2) and dh, never been to CP before but have been reading through old threads and disappointed to hear how bad the food is. Was looking forward to eating out for the week but won't bother now. Any other top tips for things to do (or not) whilst we're there?

We were at Elvedon last week, and I have to say that the food has improved quite a bit.

There were nice salads on all the menus, children can have half portions of adult meals, but the range of childrens meals was good, not all of them with chips and a few organic recipies.

There were nice burgers with grilled chicken fillets instead of burgers on the adults menu and seeded bagels, jacket pots etc too.

I never eat out at the more expensive restaurants there, as I think they will only disappoint and they are pricey for what you get IYSWIM.

The pizzas we had were delicious though - and they do them takeaway should you wish to eat in the evening when your DD is in bed

We did Sherwood in October, the time out club was great. Pizzas were fine, stay away from the pancake house. Stop off in the nearest service station, coming from the south. They have a M&S food place, stock up on nice ready meals - but don't buy too many as you will eat out as it is too much of a stress to get back to villa for lunch every day.

How will I recognise you bettythebuilder, will you be wearing a yellow hard hat?!

I'm sure you'll spot me, as I'm meeting up with pretty much every living relative I have (and a few more besides) Aunt, Uncle, Gran, Mum, Dad, Cousin, his wife & 2 children, another Aunt and Uncle...We'll be the ones either getting along in glorious familial harmony, or killing each other. Take your pick

If you spot a likely candidate, just sidle up and mutter something about mooncups...
