Caravan parks 2 hours from Manchester - any suggestions?

I'm looking for a really cheap but nice holiday for me and the kids? They've never been to a caravan park (nor have I) so just wondered if any of you have any recommendations?

Ideally somewhere with a beach or things to do within walking distance as I don't fancy jumping in the car every day nor being stuck with just a swimming pool and nothing else to do.

Or it could be a holiday village/ lodge/ glamping kind of set up but suspect that might be more expensive?
