Bluestones with 18 month old

I've read through the old threads about Bluestones but can't see an answer to my questions so hoping someone can help!

We're going on our first proper holiday next month to Bluestones with 18 month old DD.
I'm looking at prebooking activities like messy play but am unsure about the "mini adventures" where you leave them for 3 hours. It says they're suitable for 0-3 year olds, but what is it exactly? Do they just have supervised themed play in the creche? Is it better for older toddlers?

Any advice on what's good for toddlers her age either in Bluestones or local appreciated too

Folly farm is great locally so is Tenby. Personally not a massive fan of bluestone but she may like the pool and indoor play area. Have a great time,

Hello LokiPokey, we're at Bluestone at the moment, it's wonderful. I'm here with an 18 month old and a preschooler. We did the party messy play on Sat and it was fab, lots of different tables of textures and mess for them to explore. My 18 month old loved every minute. We haven't done an unsupervised activity though, so can't say on that one. We've just been (we went 1st week of May). We booked our 20mth old into the creche (woodland mini adventure) because we'd booked into the spa for the afternoon (don't judge me, we'd had a crap time leading up to the break and needed it). It is basically a creche where they play (dress-up, crafts etc.,), they get a snack and you get a handover sheet (same as you would at nursery).

We didn't book anything else. The pool was great and he loved the park so we never felt we needed to. Like PP said, Folly Farm was brilliant. We only intended to stop for an hour or so on our way to Tenby and ended up spending all day there. Highly recommend it.

If you decide to eat at any of the places on site (particularly the Grill place), I'd recommend reserving a table as it gets busy around 5-6pm (everyone has kids so its prime time). To be honest there's some lovely pubs not too far away which were cheaper and served nicer food.

I thought the accommodation was great - really clean and spacious, although we hardly spent any time there.

We've been every yr with DS (now 3) and it's great. The circus room is a good space on the top floor of the activity centre that is often under used. Theres lots to do. We swam every morning and only left to visit a few beaches and Folly farm.

We went when DS was 13m, apart from the very long drive we loved it. Didn't get the golf buggies though almost every other family did- the weather was fab though so a 15 minute walk from car to lodge in the sun with buggy was fine.

Didn't do any planned activities- seemed a bit overpriced. However the soft play and pool but were good and free. Folly farm excellent as was day trip to Tenby.

The pool and play area are nice, have a great vacation!

No judgement here Yesayer. I'd love to pop DD in the creche and enjoy a whole 3 hours with DH on our own!

We are going in June, just wondered what the cots are like ? Are they just bog standard travel cots ? I know bedding isn't provided but don't know what to take.

Yes they are travel cots and fine.
There was an issue with ours and they replaced it very quickly.
