Last minute family weekend away? (South east)

I want to take my 3 children away somewhere this weekend, preferably to somewhere very close to a beach. I tried looking at some travel lodge type places but as far as I can see they don't have rooms big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. They are all under 8 so separate Rooms aren't an option. Holiday cottages seem to only be 7+ night stays too. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find somewhere to stay from Friday night, checking out on Sunday? Looking to stay on the kent coast / Sussex. Tia
