Center Parcs Sherwood Forest with 9mo

We've just booked a midweek stay for me, DH and DD (aged 9 mo). We've never been so I'm after some advice about pushchairs. We've hired bikes and a trailer because our lodge is right at the edge of the park. Does anyone know if you can fit a stroller pushchair in the trailer with the baby? If not what do you do with the baby when you park the bikes to go into the shops and restaurants etc? Do you just carry them in a sling? Trying to decide whether our big pushchair or a lightweight stroller would be more useful. Thank you and sorry for the stupid questions xx

Don't be sorry; no question is a stupid question! As for an answer I believe you can fit it, so you're not worry. It may vary, though. I'd ask around a bit more to see what the majority says. Good luck!

call the center parcs main switchboard and ask to speak to the cycle centre at sherwood directly - they will tell you. some bike trailers you can detach and wheel around....

weve just got back from SF and we noticed the trailers as we used to hire one for our now 10 year old. We used to put him in with our swimming bag but we did notice that these new ones they offer are very small and no way would you be able to get a buggy in.

Everyone just parks up and locks the bikes up (you get a free lock when hiring) and either uses slings or carrys. Lots of people do just walk with their buggies/babies so really up to you if you want to cycle or walk.

On another note the restuarant prices including drinks are ridiculous large glass of wine nearly 7 !!!!

Its only a 20 min walk (guideline times seem to be based on if you were to crawl in) from the very edge to the centre so you might stroll in with pushchair in you want it with you.

We went with ds at this age. We had a ball. Lovely memories of that holiday.

Park market (on site shop) is expensive in general so a basic food shop in advance is a good idea.
