We have just booked for December and paid the extra for a central location - I was anticipating The Pine Area but we have been allocated Ash 842 - looks to be close to a little pond but also the main road - any advice as to whether this would be a good location or if I should request pine would be much appreciated. Will have a 7 and a 2 year old planning on lots of swimming and wanting to make it as relaxing and easy as possible!!! x

Just come back - pine 120 - perfect location for plaza and if you park in carpark O then you don't even need to bring your car round to unload as it's right behind (although you'd never know from the villa) and we still had ducks, squirrels and deer! Will have a look on map for yours now.

Oh the ash ones look good too - ideal for a quick trip to the pancake house at the village square but still flat and easy to the plaza. I'd be happy with that (am a very seasoned centre parcs-er!). Although it's a main road it's only the land train and bikes and you're up a path generally rather than right on it.

Yes that's a great location IMO. Anything along that main road (bear in mind there are no cars allowed, only the land train and bikes) is great for access to the pool and you're near the pancake house and the fab playgrounds there.

Thank you so much that's put my mind at rest - although I will bear in mind the tip for Pine 120 for next time!

Have a lovely time - the winter wonderland is lovely and there's something extra special about being in the outdoor pool in december with all the christmas lights on!

You'll be fine - very close to the pool and easy to get down to sports cafe as well. It won't feel remote but it won't be anything like being on a main road.
325 and 326 are my faves - up the pedestrian only path just as you come out of the pool.
Strada and the sports cafe have good softplays.
The winter wonderland is really lovely.
Watch out for the early closing shops on Sunday.
I can recommend the silk painting session if you want some non-spa time out. The lady who does it is so serene - she chills me out!
Do book.

PicaK -We were ACTUALLY in 326 Mon to Fri this week!!! It is our favourite too!

Like a scene from Snow White out the back - 2 deer, 5(!) squirrels a rabbit, 3 ducks, a woodpecker, loads of little tweety birds - all together on one afternoon - and watching bats circling at twilight was a highlight too. Also saw a buzzard flying over and perching in a tree about 20 feet from us and a heron land on the pond behind the villa.

take bird seed with you and spread around the patio area as soon as you arrive.

Ash 842 is a fantastic place too - we have stayed in 306 which is on the same little row as 842. It is set back from the road and the pond is lovely - ducks, coots and moor-hens galore! and deer... nice and central for the village and easy flat walk to the plaza.
