Anyone know Birmingham airport?

Hello,

We are planning to fly from Birmingham for the first time next month for a holiday. It's a 6am flight and we'll need to stay over somewhere near the night before, and then leave our car at the airport for a week.. Does anyone recommend anywhere to stay, and/or which carpark to use? Do any B&B's nearby offer a transfer, and leave the car there? We've done that at Manchester once before.

Any help much appreciated thank you! Xx

We always use Premier Inns for overnight stays, there is always one just where we need to be so it's worth looking at their website.

They do a 'sleep, park, fly' package of overnight hotel and airport parking. We've booked that for next month at the Heathrow T5 Premier Inn, it's £150 for the hotel and 10 nights parking. I thought that was reasonable for a family of 5 (we are sneaking our 3 year old in as an infant under 2 who needs a cot so we only need one room. She is very petite and does still sleep in a cot at home!), especially as it's the 'meet and greet' parking where you drive your car right to the airport and they just fetch it back to you when you arrive. But I think it's only Heathrow/Gatwick/Manchester that they have this deal for.

We always use APH for parking at airports. They have their own car parks but also sell other company's services too. Their own car park at Manchester is fab, they are really efficient. When we flew from East Midlands a couple of years ago we used APH to book the on-site long stay car park, it was cheaper through APH than booking on the East Midlands airport website. You can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for APH (or at least you could last time I looked).
