NEW YEARS EVE WITH YOUNG CHILDREN

I want to take my family away (5 yr old, 4r yr old and one a baby) over new year. Ideally only in the UK and only for maximum a week (over New Years eve). Where can I go? I need somewhere with entertainment for the little ones ideally. I don't fancy Butlins and places like Forest Holidays seem a bit remote. Im looking for a really nice break that we can spoil ourselves with but will also be good for the kids - does this even exist?! Any advice/experiences appreciated.

We stayed in Four Seasons, Hampshire recently and it was a lovely place. There's even an Own Your Own Pony for the day that DD1 loved to bits as well as many activities for the family to do as well like; croquet, falconry, tennis. Is a very nice place to stay with an onsite spa too.

If not there is one called Chewton Glen in Hampshire though not sure what it's like or if it is very pricey. As well as many hotels buy the sea in Bournemouth area.

Clydey Cottages in Wales, loads for kids to do although not cheap!

All family friendly, kids teas, entertainers for kids etc but not butlins type of thing.

Be prepared to pay a fortune. New Years is very very expensive.

Legoland Winsor! we had a fab time on their New Year's package but not really relaxing and grown-up - depends how much of a balance you want between kids and adults.

The park is open for hotel guests with limited rides operating, hotel has a swimming pool and is magical for kids, there was a meal in the eve and then the best fireworks I have ever seen - we all got dressed up for dinner and "midnight" is brought forward to cater for the little ones. Afterwards we went up to our room and watched the London fireworks in the distance from our window and on the TV. Breakfast and swimming the next day.

Fab time and can't wait to go again.
