It's my close friend's 50th birthday this July and she's having a big do at a local venue. Normally we'd stay at her house when we visit but as it's her party I don't want to impose (there's 5 of us). I know she won;t mind but if she's got family coming I want her to be able to put them up.
Anyway, I contacted a couple of people via TripAdvisor who rent out apartments in Shoreham but was horrified to be told that it would cost £500 for 2 nights 
. I'm pretty sure I could get a hotel in Brighton for less than this.
Can anyone recommend a rental (not hotel or b&b) that is more reasonably priced than this?
