UK holiday suggestions with 6 month old

Hi all.

Any ideas on somewhere nice to go in the summer for a week or two in the UK with our DD who will be 6 months at the time?

We LOVE our abroad holidays but have decided to wait until next year when DD is a bit older as thought it would be quite a lot of hassle changing routine at this age when we will start weaning etc and having to take steriliser etc..

Thing is, we love the sun and normally jut laze around on holiday, were not into walking holidays or sight seeing or anything.

We normally go to the beach or a trip in the day and dinner and drinks and night.

With UK weather not always guaranteed we have no idea where to go where we won't get bored and stuff for us to do with DD.

Any ideas anyone?

Forgot to say we would be tempted to take our dog if it was in the UK aswell x

have a look at the dog friendly websites like petswelcome, we take dogs etc because not everywhere takes dogs and would suggest you start with this first. you need to narrow down how far you want to travel with your LO and whether you want a hotel to do everything for you or not. babyfriendlyboltholes is a good website to look at as well as awaywiththekids. Hmm lazy holidays in the sun in the UK with a 6 month old. not sure you are going to find exactly all of this but hopefully something. babies, heat and lazing around don't usually mix!
