Lincoln, somewhere nice over night to stay?

dropping DD off at camp so have weekend free - any ideas what to do and where to stay lincoln way

If you want Lincoln City centre then The Hilton on the Brayford Pool is nice.

Uphill/Bailgate area is lovely! Lots of good restaurants, independent gift shops, antique shops and old pubs. Check out Castle Hotel, Duke William, White Hart and Lincoln Hotel for accommodation.

Forgot to mention the Castle and Cathedral are uphill!
