DS wants to go for his birthday. Just 1 night stay. I keep seeing floral wallpaper and carpet and I'm scared Grin

Can anyone recommend somewhere nice and modern to sleep 4 (2 adults).

I have stayed at The Big Blue several times ,it's always been nice . The one at the football ground is nice as well .

No 1 South Beach is a lovely boutique hotel. Or The Big Blue which is next to The Pleasure Beach is lovely.

I stayed here when I had to go to Blackpool a few years ago. It was pretty good.

Premier Inn, Blackpool airport (there is no airport anymore obvs). Clean, quiet. Think I paid around £21 for the room.

Thanks so much guys, will check those all out.

Yes we have a couple of Premiere Inns and Travelodges too. Depends on how much you want to spend!

The Redstone is absolutely amazing. One of the nicest places I've stayed in the UK.

Who goes to Blackpool for 'nice' or modern?! I love Blackpool, but the 1980s floral carpets, the woodchip aand dusty uplighters are all part of the experience!
Have fun, whatever you decide on :)

I live in Blackpool and have never heard of The Redstone! It's got amazing reviews :)

StayGoldPonyBoy · 03/03/2015 16:09

The Big Blue!

I'm sure when we went we got deals on PB wrist bands for staying there

Ghe Redstone is lovely but they don't seem to accomodate families. 2 aduots plus 1 child seems to be the max per room.

Think it will be Big Blue.
