Hi!

This is my first post, good to be a member!

My name's Jo and I've got a little girl called Sophie who is 2 months old and I live on the Wirral with my hubby of over 3 years.

We were thinking of having our first family holiday in the UK later on this year and am looking at a glamping/cabin/holiday home type thing around July time but all the ones I can find are so expensive at least £650! Looking to spend around £250 for accommodation, distance not an issue. No preference on day either.

Any ideas/opinions would be appreciated!

Jo - you need to avoid school holidays this is why the prices are so expensive in July because its not just UK state schools that drive them. Scotland and Ireland break up at the beginning of July as do Europe. you will find that the last week in June is significantly cheaper. you are going to struggle to find a week in July in anything on a budget of £250. Have a look at June first and see if what you want is a bit cheaper then. you are going to have to be a bit more realistic about your budget if you want July though.
